Kesha Ealy – The Minister, The Artist & The Actress
is known for her sultry gospel voice and silky jazz tones that makes her unique vocal phrasing and interpretation of lyrics
to a song – a symphony of soulful sounds that will take your breath away!
Kesha has been singing since the age of 9-years old, and has been performing professionally for over 16 years.
In 1992, she joined the world-renowned gospel group Kurt Carr and the Curt Carr Singers. In 1998,
after recording 2 CD’s with the group - “Serious About It” and “No One Else”, she left the group
to pursue a career in acting.
Kesha teamed up with the award-winning director, David Talbert, and was casted as
the lead - Angel Jackson, for the hit play “Mr. Right Now”. The Richmond Times quotes,
“Kesha’s performance as Angel was powerful, and an emotional gusher.” Sister to Sister
Magazine quotes, “It’s a must see for every woman”. And the L.A. Times quotes, “It’s a
roof raising romantic melodrama and pays off with lots of panache”.
